Hi — I'm Antonio Johnson. I built Tova Cities API because I needed a focused city and country API, and every option in front of me was either bloated, unpredictable, or both.
The big providers wanted a credit card and a meter. Free tiers came with "don't cache, don't store" fine print. SDKs shipped with twenty methods I'd never use, pricing tiers I had to memorize, and enough billing complexity that I caught myself overthinking every API call.
What I wanted instead
A handful of REST endpoints I could read in five minutes. JSON out. No SDK required. A flat monthly bill that didn't move when traffic did. Fast responses, a real city dataset, and the freedom to display results on any map I liked.
